Isaac and Cindy Hassoun, Proprietors of Black Forest Inn launched, last summer, a “Bistro on the Terrace” as an evening dinner destination for the area. The Hassoun's opened their second season ‘on the Terrace,’ with additional amenities which have enhanced the ambience with romantic lighting, and the personal touches that guests can really appreciate.
Returning visitors and tourists really enjoy familiar restaurants and attractions that have been promoted world wide for many years by South Dakota and the Black Hills Region on the western side of the state, next door to Wyoming. Black Forest Inn has almost always had a restaurant that has been remembered for good food, nice wait staff, and its’ naturally beautiful mountain setting, and nearby recreational lakes, and mountain ski areas, in the region.
The Hassouns’ have newly remodeled a couple of their 9 guest rooms, available by reservation, year around. Isaac, himself, prepares breakfast by 8:30 AM sharp, so guests can be on their way to other Black Hills vacation destinations.
Destination Dining in the Evening is available from 4 - 9 PM at the “Bistro on the Terrace” 7-days a week, from May 1 - Labor Day. Destination dining guests will really enjoy the enticing menu with a bit of an international flair, really fine, carefully selected wines, and Black Forest Inn’s Award Winning Cheesecake (with raspberry sauce), Seductive Indulgence, and Red Velvet Layer Cake, from the Desserts section.

Chef Tristin and assistant Chris are eager to please with their succulent receipts, aromatic, and creative presentations that appeal to the most discerning palettes. Wine specialist and Head Waiter, Jake patiently describes the available wines, and carefully instructs dining guests for complete enjoyment of their dining experience. All the wait staff attend to the details every dining guest appreciates.
