Founded in 1906) , Photo, original Mount Rushmore Shopping Bag and an original painting used for the Grand Opening of Mount Rushmore Gift Shop at Mount Rushmore National Memorial in October 1941.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a massive sculpture carved into Mt. Rushmore in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Completed under the direction of Gutzon and Lincoln Borglum from 1927–1941 depicting Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln.
These Historic printing plates are being released to the general public for the first time in 75 years on the 75th Anniversary of the opening of Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
These plates are owned by Scott Prentice, also a featured artist at Mount Rushmore National Memorial with the 20′ x 40′ glass carving of “The Stand”
a larger than life glass carving of a White Buffalo.
These printing plates are in excellent condition, says Scott Prentice. These plates are being revealed for the first time to the general public.
These plates would be great to reprint new prints or to display as a historical artifact.
